Catching up that flamoyant time of 2009 ,
when enfield used to ride those curves of university campus ,
thumping of engine used to rule the heart of a bloke ,
Chrome shine makes the mouth of bypasser agape ,
loitering college gate was fad and fun ,
doting dad with caution to ride safe ,
Darling ( Royal Enfield ) it had been a long 18 years , day to day affair with you ,
A college night with drop safe , was buzz of the moment ,
one such damsel pillion , draped in beautiful saree make my memories vivid ,
Upon repeated plea for a lift , led to a moment to cherish ,
Feeling a bit sketchy about the situation , I finally nodded to give a ride ,
short ride still etched in my memory , as rule was broken for first & last time ,
feeling the gale when it brushes off your body , to freshen up your spirit to ride one more time ,
everytime you check upon the odometer , you decide to live your passion high one more time ,
There is a meandering of a soul to reminisce of a saying : four wheels drive body , two wheel drive soul.
